Founded in 2002, Gordon University has proudly stood as a beacon of learning, community empowerment, and global opportunity. From our earliest beginnings, our institution has been guided by one mission: to provide access to quality education for all, especially those historically excluded from higher education.

At our core, we are not just a university — we are part of the community. We were born out of the community, supported by the community, and continue to thrive because of the community. Our History & Growth

2002 – Gordon University was officially established in the United States, starting with a small rented building and a passionate group of educators.

2004 – Expansion began with the construction of our Main Academic Hall, the heart of our undergraduate programs.

2008 – We opened the International Studies Center, welcoming our first international students from South Africa, India, and Canada.

2011 – Introduction of online learning and correspondence programs, allowing students worldwide to study with us.

2015 – Construction of the Graduate Research Complex, providing cutting-edge facilities for Master’s and PhD candidates.

2018 – Gordon University became fully accredited in multiple disciplines and began collaborating with global charities to support education for underprivileged students.

2020 – Launch of Gordon Global Online, an advanced platform for remote learners, coinciding with the global pandemic to ensure no student was left behind.

2023 – Establishment of the Innovation and Technology Hub, providing hands-on training in AI, data science, and future-facing industries.

Today – Gordon University proudly serves students both in-person and online, with alumni in over 40 countries making a tangible impact on society.

Since 2011, Gordon University has offered correspondence study, online courses, and long-distance learning. Today, our online programs are among the most respected worldwide, covering everything from Bachelor’s degrees to PhD research supervision.
